Morgellons and Other Itchy Skin Parasites That Doctors Don’t Know About

I was first exposed to itchy skin parasites and Morgellons in 1994. I was pulling vines from trees in my back yard and shook loose a cloud of dust that floated down upon me. I did not know it at the time but that cloud of dust changed my life forever. After a hot shower I forgot about it.A couple days later as we visited my mother, me and my fiance noticed intense itching. Only after taking a near scalding bath did we find relief.
But the relief was short lived and within a few hours we began itching again and a day or so later we experienced intense itching and biting. Hell had just begun as we rushed to the doctor who prescribed Elemite and after we applied it, we had relief and thought we were cured. But within about four days the hell of itching and biting returned.
We soon came to know that the itchy skin parasites infected our clothing, bedding, and home. It was a scary realization that they were everywhere and we didn not know where everywhere ended. First results on the internet provided diatomaceous earth as a killer of anything alive. I observed very small flying insects in the house that looked as though it was a mite and thought that they were connected to our infestation and hoped relief would be provided by using diatomaceous earth.
Soon laundering all our bedding and clothing that we wore became our daily routine and take two to three near scalding baths a day. All of the over the counter remedies provided minimal if any relief. More trips to the doctor was the result. Even with bite marks, open sores, and skin rashes the doctor had no answers.
My fiancee moved away and eventually solved her problem with an ice bath and using a product called liquid needles. I could never bring myself to an ice bath and the product had little effect on my itchy skin parasites. My relief came from daily massive doses of garlic.
My life was being controlled by itchy skin parasites which I assumed was Morgellons. Suicide was a thought that I entertained whenever I thought of never ever getting rid of them as the relief from the garlic eventually wore off.
Around 2002 the word, Morgellons was coined by the mother of a sufferer and all of us who communicated on the internet with similar symptoms thought we had Morgellons. At least it was something to hang our hats on as the doctors we sought for help diagnosed us as delusional.
The advice of a friend who suggested that I look into a dietary connection saved my life. In the absence of garlic I eventually discovered through the process of elimination that certain foods put the itchy skin parasites in remission and other foods activated them. I called it the King Diet as it was King in saving my sanity from Morgellons or itchy skin parasites. The good news is that for hundreds of sufferers it has brought sanity back to their lives.
In 2004 one sufferer claimed that there was no such thing as Morgellons and that we were all suffering from Strongyloides stercoralis which is a nematode. And guess what? My blood tests came back positive for Strongyloides stercoralis. His claim made sense since I never had fluorescent fibers which are typical to Morgellons.
Through another sufferer of itchy skin parasites I learned of collembola also known as spring tails. They jump onto your ankles and are invisible which I experienced on a regular basis.
Instead of claiming Morgellons a hoax, I realized that there are three distinct itchy skin parasites that have similar severe itchy skin and biting symptoms and the good news was that the King Diet was working for all three of them. With the opportunity to be in touch with hundreds of other sufferers I learned much about all three types of parasites. There are a several physicians of which I consulted two of them who work with Morgellons sufferers and Lyme disease who treated me for Lyme disease and a protozoan infection. The skin is the body’s largest organ, weighing about 8 lbs (3.6kilos). It’s composed of a complex system of cell layers, nerves and glands that are designed to protect you.
The skin acts as a waterproof, insulating shield, guarding the body against extremes of temperature, damaging sunlight, and harmful chemicals. It also exudes antibacterial substances that prevent infection and manufactures vitamin D for converting calcium into healthy bones. It is also a huge sensor packed with nerves for keeping the brain in touch with the outside world, and it allows us free movement.
Our skin is made up of three layers:
1. The outermost is called the Epidermis. This consists mainly of cells called Keratinocytes, made from the protein keratin (also the material in hair and nails). Keratinocytes form several layers that constantly grow outwards as the exterior cells die and flake off. It takes roughly five weeks for newly created cells to work their way to the surface. The epidermis harbours defensive Langerhans cells, which alert the body’s immune system to viruses and other infectious agents.
2. A deeper skin layer known as the Dermis gives the organs their strength and elasticity thanks to fibers of collagen and elastin. Blood vessels here help regulate body temperature by increasing blood flow to the skin to allow heat to escape, or by restricting the flow when it’s cold. A network of nerve fibers and receptors pick up feelings such as touch, temperature, and pain, relaying them to the brain.
The dermis houses hair follicles and glands with ducts that pass up through the skin. Sweat glands bring down internal temperature through perspiration while ridding the body of the waste fluids. Apocrine glands, which develop during puberty, produce a scented sweat linked to sexual attraction that can also cause body odor, especially around the armpits. Sebaceous glands secrete oil-like sebum for lubricating the hair and skin.
3. The skin’s base layer is the Subcutis, which includes a seam of fat laid down as a fuel reserve in case of food shortage. It also works as insulation and cushions us from knocks and falls.
Our skin color is due to Melanin, a pigment produced in the epidermis to protect us from the sun’s ultraviolet rays. Dark-skinned people produce more numerous and deeper-colored melanin particles. People with the darkest complexions are native to tropical regions, particularly those with few densely forested areas.
Fair skin is an adaptation found in people from northern latitudes where solar rays are relatively weak. Here the benefits of dark skin are outweighed by the need for bone-strengthening vitamin D, produced through exposure to UV rays. But hotter, sunnier environments bring the risk of serious skin damage.

– It is waterproof: your skin acts as a water resistant barrier so essential nutrients aren’t washed out of the body.
Your skin is under near constant assault from the outside world, through harmful elements such as cuts, infections, scrapes, water, light and dangerous chemicals.
However, your skin is tougher than it looks, and has resources to respond to a lifetime’s worth of traumas.
Excessive sun exposure can damage the skin by darkening it too much (overproducing the brown pigment melanin, which limits protection), but the body needs sunlight to produce vitamin D. If you have dark or olive skin, you are genetically predisposed to deal better with sun exposure. While if you are fair skinned, you should limit your exposure. This doesn’t mean that you can’t get out in the sun. This doesn’t mean that you have to cover yourself head to toe in creams full of harmful artificial chemicals that play havoc with your skin’s natural protective resources. Simply, do not attempt to change your natural skin colour by spending hours lying in the sun, or by layering fake tans on!
Skin ageing is accelerated by overexposure to the sun, toxins in cigarettes, drinks and foods, as well as chemicals found in beauty products.
Your toothpaste, shampoo, sunscreen, body lotion, body talc, makeup, hair dye, and your anti-aging cream may be causing you to age faster than you are supposed to by messing with your skin’s natural resources. Not only that, but these are among the personal care products the consumer has been led to believe are safe, but that are often contaminated with carcinogenic by-products.
Many commonly used products contain potentially harmful ingredients, which are made up of very small molecules that may penetrate the skin, enter the blood stream, and build up in the liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, and tissues. This is with exception of seven known toxins, such as hexachlorophene, mercury compounds, and chloroform. Should the FDA deem a product a danger to public health, it has the power to pull a cosmetic product from the shelves, but in many of these cases the FDA has failed to do so, while evidence mounts that some of the most common cosmetic ingredients may double as deadly carcinogens.
Examples of products with potential carcinogens are: Clairol “Nice and Easy” hair color, which release carcinogenic formaldehyde as well as Cocamide DEA (a substance which can be contaminated with carcinogenic nitrosamines or react to produce a nitrosamine during storage or use); Vidal Sassoon shampoo (which like the hair dye, contains Cocamide DEA); Cover Girl makeup contains TEA (which is also associated with carcinogenic nitrosamines); Crest toothpaste which contains titanium dioxide, saccharin, and FD&C Blue#1(known carcinogens).

By wearing a weight vest during my most active time of day, whether it is going on a walk, jog or just working around the house, I’m getting the same strength training benefits without having to go through the motions of lifting weights.
Weight vest training is good for more than just firefighters and competitive athletes; bodybuilding and middle-aged women can all reap its benefits. The principles behind training with a weight vest are very simple. You’re basically training your body to handle more weight than it’s used to.
Athletics – In a study published in the European Journal of Applied Physiology in 1987, a group of athletes each wore a weighted best equivalent to about 10 percent of their body weight from morning until nighttime. When compared to a group that only wore the vest every other day, constant vest wearers displayed better oxygen intake capabilities to support longer and harder workouts. They were able to achieve a higher intensity of exercise before muscle failure. The daily vest wearer also logged longer running times before exhaustion and increased speed on stair running. What a Treat!

It was a long weekend when I decided to stay with my brother. He was living alone in his small house outside the city. I decided to come over during the weekend, because I need someone to talk to. I just broke up with my boyfriend. We were just going out for almost a year, but he cheated. My ex-boyfriend impregnated another girl, whom I barely knew. I was in the state of denial, so I needed someone to talk to. My brother is the most understanding person in our family. I wanted him to console me, because I’m already feeling doomed. Coming over was really a great idea. We talked and he let me vent out my emotions. After hours of talk, he invited me to join him with his new pastime. My brother was now a real fan of mountain climbing. He would allow me to experience nature, for me to forget all those hurting feelings. I am getting too emotional, and he thought it would be best if I could go out and be doing a couple of things.
I really believe that my brother knows the best for me. That’s why I decided to join this hiking. One sunny Sunday, we started packing our things and foods to bring. We are all geared up to climb that mighty mountain. As we set our foot to the mountain’s base, I can’t control this admiration inside. It was real handsome nature’s creation. I am getting doubt if I could get on top. My brother advised me to follow him while he’s getting up. When we started reaching the top, I am having second thoughts of pursuing. My legs are all covered of mud and insect bites. I cannot even count the number of times I fall or slip over the track. I am crawling and screaming to my brother that I want to get back down. My system is confused if she will sweat or cry. This is harder than being heartbroken I guess. Then everything started to dim. I cannot hear a word from my brother. Oh well, I fainted.
The moment I woke up, my brother was at my side. I am inside his room, but there was something weird with the smell. It was a heavenly scented room! I saw floating candles and petals in a big bowl beside my head part. And he called his girlfriend to take over me. His girlfriend was a professional masseuse. Now I realized that they were about to give me a treat. She started giving me a Swedish massage on my back, arms, and legs. This was a great feeling. I want to thank my brother for this. Then she started arranging massage stones on my back. It was a warm strange feeling at first, but slowly it creates a relaxing sensation with my tortured muscles. Charades

I discreetly checked my wristwatch for the ninth time in the last forty five minutes. I’m being careful not to have my wife notice. I promised Kate I would be her loving husband today by taking her out to lunch and following her from one store to the next. I would much rather be at home, enjoying NBA on my flat screen, but this is just one of those tiresome tasks I signed up for when I married my lovely wife. If I had a genie, I would wish to have a twin who could carry all these shopping bags I’m supposed to guard with my life.
Kate was trying on a pair of black heels when I noticed a poor salesgirl hauling more shoes than she could carry. I began to feel weak when I realized the salesgirl was headed toward us. Then Kate beamed at me and unselfishly told me I could catch bits of the game from the huge flat panel at the electronics shop nearby while she tried on a few more pairs. I thought I heard angels singing. As I made my way to the electronics shop, I began to doubt my wife’s motive for getting me out of that last shoe store. Maybe she didn’t want me to see how much her shoes are going to cost us this time. But that’s something to argue about when the credit card statement comes in from the mail.
While I was watching the basketball game from outside the electronics store, a young lady handed me a flyer. I thanked her, and merely glanced at the piece of paper and made out massage stones. I brought my full attention back into the game. Before I knew it, the area where I stood had been filled with passersby catching the last half of the game. Soon it was over, and I was glad to be rooting for the winning team. As the crowd started to leave, Kate and all her oversized shopping bags appeared out of nowhere. Uh-oh. Even now, a couple of decades later, Russia still has that invincible mystique when it comes to its workout regimens and secret training techniques. What can we learn from them today, what advice can we get from them?
Take Adaption Into Account
The Russians figured out early on that bodies will adapt to any form of exercise in about 6 weeks, with more advanced athletes adapting as early on as even 2 weeks. What does this mean for you? This means you can train the same way, use the same weights for only up to six weeks, and then you have to change things up. You can derive enormous advantage and growth from changing your workouts every so often, challenging your body to adapt and continue growing. On a practical level, train systematically, rotating what each workout segment is supposed to achieve, whether it’s increasing volume and intensity, or focusing on your weak points, or whatever, and keep changing it up and doing different combinations.
Stretch Properly
Watch a bunch of track and field athletes, and they’ll all be doing static stretching, reaching down to touch their toes and holding that position for long beats before moving to the other leg.
